Overview
Settings Templates allow you to save and quickly switch between different job configurations. Instead of manually adjusting your door, hardware, and material settings for each new job, you can save your preferred configurations as templates and apply them in seconds.
Why Use Settings Templates?
Common examples:
- Commercial vs. Residential jobs - Different door styles, materials, and hardware for each job type
- Door styles - Save separate templates for Shaker, Raised Panel, Slab, MDF, and more
- Material types - Switch quickly between plywood, MDF, or painted configurations
- Customer preferences - Save templates for repeat customers with specific requirements

Tips for Success
💡 Use descriptive names - "Shaker White Painted" is better than "Template 1"
💡 Create templates by project type - Commercial, Residential, Builder Grade, Custom, etc.
💡 Create templates by door style - One template per door style speeds up job setup significantly
💡 Export your templates - Keep a backup of your templates in case of reinstallation or computer changes
💡 Set a smart default - Choose your most frequently used settings as your default template
