Overview
If your jobs are not appearing in Mozaik, this is most commonly a file location issue — not a problem with your authorization code or your account. Your authorization code only controls access to the software itself and has no effect on the job files stored on your computer.
How to Find Your Missing Jobs
Work through the steps below in order. Most users find their jobs by Step 2.
Step 1 — Check that your jobs folder contains the job files Navigate to the folder where your Mozaik jobs are stored and confirm the job files are physically present inside it.
Step 2 — Verify the file location is pointed to the correct folder Inside Mozaik, check your settings to confirm the software is looking at the right folder for your jobs. If this path is incorrect, Mozaik will not be able to find your files even if they exist on your computer.
Step 3 — Check your Recycle Bin If you cannot find the job files in any folder, check your computer's Recycle Bin. Files are sometimes accidentally deleted and may still be recoverable.
Step 4 — Check your shared file location If your shop is set up to share files between computers, the jobs may be stored on a shared or network drive. Check that shared location to see if the files are present there.
Note: If you are using file sharing, make sure the network connection to the shared drive is active. A disconnected drive will cause jobs to appear missing even if the files are intact.
Common Issues
- Authorization code entered — Your auth code only unlocks access to Mozaik. It does not restore or affect job files.
- Jobs visible on one computer but not another — Check that both computers are pointed to the same shared file location in settings.
- Jobs folder appears empty — Confirm you are looking in the correct folder, then check the Recycle Bin for recently deleted files.
- File path changed after a Windows update or system change — Re-verify the job file location in Mozaik settings and update it to the correct path.
