Overview
Multiprint is Mozaik's powerful drawing and documentation tool that allows you to create professional, print-ready drawings of your cabinet designs. You can set up custom page sizes, add title blocks, combine multiple views (floor plans, elevations, cross-sections), and annotate your drawings with notes, symbols, and dimensions.
Accessing Multiprint
Multiprint can be accessed from the MultiPrint tab or in the file menu under File > Multiprint
Understanding the Multiprint Interface
1. Working Page Area
The central canvas displays a preview of your page layout. This is where you'll arrange your drawings, add annotations, and compose your final documentation. The current paper size is shown on the right side of the window.
You can drag and drop items from the left panel directly onto this working area to build your drawing sheets.
2. Preview Window
Located in the upper left, the Preview Window shows a thumbnail of any selected drawing or item from the libraries below. This lets you verify what you're selecting before adding it to your page.
3. Drawings, Libraries, and Properties Panel
The left sidebar contains several expandable sections that give you access to all the elements you can add to your drawings:
Drawings
Access all views from your project:
- Plans: Floor plans for each room
- Elevations: Wall elevations for each room
- Products: Individual cabinet views
- Countertops: Countertop details
Important: All Mozaik drawings are LIVE. If you place a drawing on a page and then modify the design in your job, the drawing on your Multiprint page will automatically update. No need to manually refresh or replace drawings.
3D Views: Live 3D views can be used if views were saved in the 3D Viewer in the Products Tab.
Shapes Library
Drag molding profiles or custom shapes from your Shapes Library onto your drawing.
To add or edit shapes: Go to Libraries > Shapes in the main Mozaik menu.
Available categories may include:
- Baseboard
- Ceiling
- ChairRail
Notes Library
Add pre-formatted text notes to your drawings:
- Click on a note to preview it in the Preview Window
- Hold the left mouse button and drag the note onto your page
- Position and release
To add or edit notes: Go to Libraries > Notes in the main menu.
Symbols Library
Choose from architectural symbols, drawing annotations, and custom shapes:
- Architectural Symbols
- Drawing Title Breakline
- And more...
Use the + button to add new symbols, or the arrow buttons to navigate through symbol sets.
To download additional Symbol Libraries: Go to Tools > Import Updated Data.
Variables
Variables are dynamic fields that automatically populate with information from your project:
Available variable categories:
- Default: Standard project variables
- Job Tab: Customer name, job number, etc.
- Settings Tab: Company information, defaults
- Room Tab: Room-specific information
- About: Mozaik version information
How to use variables:
- Drag variables onto your sheet to display dynamic information
- Use variables in the Title Block Editor for automatic updates
- Insert variables into text strings using
{variable_name}format
Example: {Customer_Name} automatically displays the customer's name from the Job Tab.
Object Settings
The Object Settings panel dynamically changes based on what you have selected on your page:
When a text box is selected:
- Font selection
- Font size
- Font color
- Text alignment
When a CAD object (line, shape, etc.) is selected:
- Line color
- Fill color
- Line width
- Opacity
Tip: Configure your preferred settings and click Save as Defaults to use them for all future objects.
Working with Pages
4. Page Selection Dropdown

- No fills or colors
- Fastest rendering
Hidden Line:
- Line drawing with hidden lines removed
- Shows depth without color
- Clean, technical appearance
Filled with Color:
- Full color rendering
- Shows materials and finishes
- Most realistic appearance
7. Layer Template
Choose your layer template to control object visibility, colors, fonts, and line weights for the entire page.
Customizing individual drawings: Right-click on any drawing within your page to override the layer template for just that drawing.

Choose from standard architectural scales:
- 1/4" = 1'
- 1/2" = 1'

Tips for Professional Drawings
Best Practices:
- Use consistent scales across similar drawing types (all floor plans at 1/4" scale, all elevations at 1/2" scale)
- Organize your sheets logically (plans first, then elevations, then details)
- Use layer templates to maintain consistent appearance
- Take advantage of live drawings—make changes in your design and they automatically update
- Add company logos and standard notes to create branded, professional output
Common Workflows:
- Client Presentations: Use "Filled with Color" layer mode for beautiful, realistic drawings
- Shop Drawings: Use "Hidden Line" or "Wireframe" for clear, technical documentation
- Permit Drawings: Include floor plans, elevations, and all required annotations
Time-Saving Features:
- Set up template pages with title blocks and save them for reuse
- Use variables instead of manually typing project information
- Create a library of standard notes for common situations
- Save favorite layer templates and page setups as defaults
Advanced Features
Exporting to DXF
Export your drawings to DXF format for sharing with architects, general contractors, or other CAD users:
- Click Export
- Select which page(s) to export
- Choose destination folder
- Share the DXF file
Importing Content
Import external content onto your pages:
- Click Import
- Select file type (images, DXF, etc.)
- Position on your page
- Scale and adjust as needed
Custom Layer Templates
Create custom layer templates to control exactly how different elements appear on your drawings. This is useful for creating different drawing types (presentation vs. shop drawings) from the same project.
