The Products Tab is where you add cabinets and other items to your job. From here, you can drag products from your libraries into the design, preview them in 3D, and make job-specific customizations without affecting your master libraries.
This tab is most commonly used to place cabinets, but it also includes windows, appliances, furniture, and other products.
1. Product Libraries Dropdown
Use the Product Libraries dropdown to select which product library you want to work with.
- The selected library’s contents will appear in the lower-left panel
- Libraries can include cabinets, appliances, furniture, and more
2. Products Tab
The Products Tab displays all items contained in the selected Product Library.
- Items shown here are available to be dragged directly into the job
3. Job Parameters Tab
The Job Parameters Tab allows you to edit product library parameters for this job only.
- Changes made here do not affect the original Product Library
- Useful for job-specific construction or sizing adjustments
4. Favorites Tab
Favorites help speed up the design process.
- Select multiple products and save them as a Favorite
- Drag the Favorite into the design to place all included items at once
Tip: If you frequently use the same cabinet configurations (such as a vanity setup), save them as a Favorite and make minor adjustments after placement.
5. Product 3D Preview
View a live 3D preview of the currently selected product.
- Helps confirm sizing, style, and orientation before placing the product
6. Product Library Products
This section lists all products available in the selected library.
- Drag products directly into your design
- Product libraries can be edited and reorganized at:
- File > Product Libraries
7. Select Item
Use the Select Item dropdown to choose a specific product already placed in the design.
- Especially helpful when selecting small or narrow items that are difficult to click in the drawing area
8. AutoFill
The AutoFill feature allows you to quickly fill a space with cabinets.
- Click AutoFill to automatically populate a wall or opening
- AutoFill cabinet rules are defined in the Product Library
9. Sizing and Positioning Tools
These tools allow precise control over product placement and dimensions.
Common functions include:
- Saving your work (Ctrl + S)
- Viewing the room in 3D (Ctrl + Shift + V)
- Generating a SketchUp model (Ctrl + Shift + S)
- Switching between Floorplan and Elevation views
- Nudging products left or right
- Adjusting clearances, offsets, and heights
- Creating temporary or user-defined dimensions
Additional navigation tools include pan, zoom, snapping, and layer controls.
10. Sidebar Buttons and Product Controls
The sidebar provides detailed controls for the selected product.
You can:
- Center the product on the wall or within a space
- Bump the product left or right
- Stretch the product to fit the available space
- Adjust product size and position
- Set distance from the floor
- Adjust clearance between adjacent items
- Measure product position relative to wall edges
- Swap door hinge sides
- Choose which ends are finished
- Move the product to another wall
These controls allow fine-tuned placement and alignment without manually redrawing products.
Custom Cabinet Shapes (Important)
You can easily create custom-shaped cabinets:
- Right-click on a cabinet
- Select Edit Shape on Floorplan
This allows you to modify cabinet geometry directly to match unique layouts or angles.

The Products Tab is where your design comes to life. By dragging products from libraries, using Favorites and AutoFill, and fine-tuning placement with sizing and positioning tools, you can efficiently build detailed, job-specific designs while keeping your core libraries unchanged.
