Resolving File-Sharing “Shared Folders Not Accessible” Errors in Mozaik
If you are using Mozaik in a file-sharing environment (such as Dropbox, OneDrive, or a network share) and receive an error message similar to the one shown in the image below, it typically means Mozaik cannot access one or more required folders.
This issue commonly occurs when a shared Mozaik directory has been set to Read-Only, preventing the software from writing the necessary data.
How to Fix the Issue
To restore access, follow these steps:
-
Locate the Mozaik Folder
This may be your Mozaik Shared, Data, Libraries, or any folder listed in the error message. - Right-click the folder and select Properties.
- Under the Attributes section, uncheck the “Read-only” box.
- Click Apply, then OK to save the changes.
Once the folder permissions are updated, relaunch Mozaik. The software should now be accessible and write to the shared folder without errors.
