Overview A CNCMach file is a complete machine file that sets up your machine in Mozaik in a single step. It configures the Machine type, the Safety Values, and imports the necessary Post Processor files all at once.

CNCMach File vs. POP File A .POP file is simply the post processor file. A CNCMach file is a complete file used to set up your machine in the Mozaik machine library — it includes the post processor along with the rest of the machine configuration.

How to Import It
Option 1 — Automatic Import (Recommended) Mozaik should automatically import the .CNCMach file when prompted through the post request portal. In most cases, there is no need to import this manually. A confirmation message should appear once the import is successful (e.g., "[Machine Name] Imported Successfully")
Option 2 — Manual Import
- Open the Machines dialog (Settings > Machines / Machine Library)
- Click Import
- Browse to your .CNCMach file (typically found in your Downloads folder) and select it
- Click OK — Mozaik will import the Machine, Machine Type, Post Processor, Part Spacing, Pack Corner, and Safety Values automatically
Note: After importing, double check the Post Processor, Part Spacing, and Pack to Corner settings in the CNC Machine Properties to confirm they match what you expect for your machine.
Common Issues
- Import button is greyed out: Make sure a machine is selected (or added) in the Machines dialog before clicking Import.
- Settings don't appear to update: Close and reopen the Machines dialog after importing, then re-verify the Post Processor and Safety Values.
- File not found in browser: CNCMach files are typically saved to your Downloads folder — confirm the file downloaded successfully before importing.
