- For height: Mozaik needs space for the box height plus the guide template's height clearance
- For depth: Mozaik needs space for the box depth plus the drawer box template's depth clearance
Example:
Opening height: 6 inches | Guide height clearance: 0.75 inches | Standard box heights: 5.5, 7 inches | Result: The 5.5 inch box needs 0.75 inches clearance for the guides, requiring 6.25 inches total. Since the opening is only 6 inches, you'll get this error. You need to add a smaller box size like 5 or 5.25 inches to your template.
How to Fix This Error
Step 1: Check Your Opening Size
- Measure or verify the opening dimensions where the drawer will be installed
- Confirm this is the correct size for your cabinet design
Step 2: Review Your Drawer Box Template
- Open your drawer box template in Mozaik
- Check the Standard Box Heights and Standard Box Depths settings
- Verify the depth clearance value in the drawer box template
Step 3: Add or Adjust Standard Sizes
Add a standard box size that will fit your opening:
- Calculate: Opening size - Guide clearance = Maximum box size
- Add this size (or smaller) to your Standard Box Heights or Depths list
- Save the template and try your design again

- Back recess too deep: Check the BkRecess parameter. If it's too large, it reduces available depth
