How to import DXF files into Mozaik

The Mozaik Part Editor allows for the import and export of DXF files to create custom shapes for various components. This is useful for shaping cabinets, parts, and profiles like moldings, giving you greater flexibility in your designs. The editor provides the option to either use existing basic shapes or to import a custom shape from a DXF file.

To import a DXF file:

  1. Click on the desired Cabinet.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Navigate to the Parts tab.
  4. Select the specific Part you wish to modify.
  5. Click the Edit button.
  6. Click the Edit Shape button to open the Part Editor.
  7. Click DXF In to import the DXF file of the part shape.

 

Import and export DXF files

 

If the shape you are trying to import is quite simple, it might be best to draw it straight into the Part Editor.
