Welcome to Mozaik! This guide will help you navigate your 3-month trial from purchase through setup and activation.
What to Expect After Purchase
Welcome Email
Within 15-20 minutes of purchase, you'll receive:
- Download instructions for your Mozaik software
- Instructions to set up your Cyncly account
- Step-by-step installation guide with screenshots

- Day 1: Reminder to schedule your setup session
- Day 3: Reminder to submit your User ID for activation
Installation Steps
Your welcome email will include these steps:
- Download and save your Mozaik software to your device
- Launch the app and click Help > About to find your User ID
- Email your 7-digit User ID to code@mozaiksoftware.com
- Wait for your authorization code from our team
- Activate your Cyncly Account to access the Mozaik Resource Center

CNC & Enterprise Versions
Your welcome email includes an additional step for the Post Request Form, which you'll need after your initial setup session.
Paperless Shop
⚠️ Important: DO NOT install Paperless Shop on the same device as your main Mozaik software. It must be installed on a separate device.
CNC Operator
Your welcome email includes helpful installation resources:

System Requirements: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, or newer. Optimized for touchscreen tablet use.
Activating Your Software (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: Get Your User ID
After installing Mozaik:
- Open the software
- You'll see a unique 7-digit User ID for that device
- Note: Each device where you install Mozaik will have its own User ID
Step 2: Request Your Authorization Code
Submit your User ID using any of these methods:
- Click the "Request Code" button in Mozaik
- Email code@mozaiksoftware.com directly
- Call our office
Step 3: Enter Your Authorization Code
- We'll email your Authorization Code (typically within one business day)
- Enter the code into your Mozaik software
- You're activated!
Multiple Devices?
Each device needs its own User ID and Authorization Code. Simply repeat the activation process for each installation.

Your trial includes a complimentary 1.5-hour setup session with one of our expert trainers. This session is designed to:
- Introduce you to Mozaik's core features
- Configure settings specific to your shop
- Cover design tools, libraries, and parameters

CNC Post Integration (CNC & Enterprise Customers Only)
What is Post Integration?
If you purchased a CNC or Enterprise version, you'll need a Post Integration (PI) session to connect Mozaik to your CNC machine.
When to Schedule
⏱️ Important: Schedule your PI session AFTER completing your Initial Setup Session.
The Process
1. Import the Post Processor or Fill Out the Post Request Form from within Mozaik
- Provide details about your CNC machine to import the post into Mozaik
- Include a sample G-Code file (if manually filling out form)
- This ensures we provide the correct post processor
2. Schedule Your PI Session
- Contact the training department (Training@MozaikSoftware.com) when you're ready
- Or reach out to our training coordinator directly
3. During Your PI Session
We'll help you with:
- Installing and configuring the post processor
- Setting up your machine library
- Configuring CNC tooling
- Creating a test G-Code file
What Information Do You Need?
Have this information ready for your Post Request Form:
- CNC Manufacturer and Make/Model
- Machine Type (e.g., Nesting, Routing)
- CNC Control type
- File extension preferences
- Tool changer configuration
- Other machine-specific details
Support During Your Trial

Throughout your 3-month trial, our team will check in to ensure you're getting the most out of Mozaik:
- 10 days: Reminder to schedule your setup session
- 30 days: Follow-up on training and any questions
- 60 days: Final check-in to gather feedback and offer assistance

Your Trial Renewal
What Happens at the End of My Trial?
Seven days before your 3-month trial ends, you'll receive an email with information about your subscription renewal.
Automatic Renewal
Your trial will automatically convert to a 12-month annual subscription unless you choose to cancel. The renewal email will include:
- Your renewal date
- Subscription price
- Instructions to update payment methods
- How to contact support
- Cancellation instructions if you choose not to continue
Can I Cancel During the Trial?
Yes! You can cancel your trial at any time during the 3-month period. Simply:
- Call our support team
- Email customer service
- Cancel through your Cyncly Account portal
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I didn't receive my welcome email. What should I do?
A: Welcome emails arrive within 15-20 minutes of purchase. Check your spam folder first. If you still don't see it, contact our support team.
Q: How long does it take to receive an authorization code?
A: We typically send authorization codes within one business day of receiving your User ID.
Q: Is the setup session required?
A: While not mandatory, we highly recommend it! The session is included free with your trial and will help you get the most value from Mozaik.
Q: I have a Mac computer. Will Mozaik work?
A: Mozaik is designed for Windows operating systems and there is currently limited support with Mac computers. Some users have successfully run Mozaik on Mac using virtualization tools like Parallels Desktop, which allows Windows to run within macOS. However, this setup is not officially supported by Mozaik.
Q: Do I need Post Integration?
A: Post Integration is only required if you purchased a CNC or Enterprise version. Other versions don't need this step.
Q: Can I install Mozaik on multiple computers?
A: Yes! Each device will need its own User ID and authorization code. Contact code@mozaiksoftware.com for each installation.
Q: What if I don't schedule my setup session?
A: You can still use Mozaik, but we encourage you to schedule training. We'll send friendly reminders to help you get the most from your trial.
Q: How do I access the Mozaik Resource Center?
A: Activate your Cyncly Account (instructions in your welcome email) to access support resources, training materials, videos, and our community forum.
Q: Can I upgrade or change my product version during the trial?
A: Yes! Contact our customer service team, and we'll help you find the right product for your needs.
Q: What happens after my first year?
A: Your subscription will continue on an annual basis. You'll receive renewal notifications before each annual renewal date.
