How to email your job file to the helpdesk

Sending your job file directly to the helpdesk allows our support team to see exactly what you are seeing. This helps us replicate the problem and provide a faster, more precise solution to resolve your issue.

How to email your job from Mozaik

To email your job file directly from the software:
 

  1. With your job open, go to the Help menu at the top of your screen.
     
  2. Click on Email Current Job To Helpdesk.
     
  3. Click Yes when asked to Save job before emailing?
     
    • Note: The first time you use this feature, you might receive an error asking you to select your Country of Registration. Click OK.
       
    • The About Mozaik window will open. Select your Registration Country from the drop-down list and click OK. You will then need to repeat steps 1 and 2.
       
  4. The Email Job Information window will open. This will be prefilled with your company name and the email address used for registration.
     
  5. Enter a Subject and describe your issue in the Comments field. Please provide as much detail as possible.
     
  6. Click Send.
     
  7. The relevant team will review your job and reply to the email address shown.

 

 

What to do if you get an error (manual send)

If you receive an "Email Failed" error while attempting to send the email, you can send the file manually.

To send your job file manually:

  1. Click OK on the error message.
     
  2. You will be asked if you want to send the email manually. Click Yes.
     
  3. A window will open showing the location of the job file.
     
    • Please note where this file is saved (it is often in C:\Mozaik\Temp\Email).
       
  4. Open your usual email client (such as Outlook, Gmail, or Hotmail).
     
  5. Create a new email and attach the .dat job file from the previous step.
     
  6. Send the email to help@cadmate.com.au.
     
  7. In the body of your email, please include a subject and a full description of the issue. The more context you provide, the faster we can help.
