Objective

This SOP explains how to access Mozaik Cloud Rendering after the subscription has been applied, render a 3D image from the Products tab, and locate the saved file for sharing or attachment. It is intended to help team members complete the process quickly and correctly.

Key Steps

1. Open the Products tab and switch to 3D view

  • Navigate to the Products tab in Mozaik.
  • Open the room in 3D mode so the cloud render option becomes available.
  • Confirm the viewer is displaying the correct room before proceeding.

2. Open the Mozaik Cloud Render menu

  • In the 3D viewer, click the Render option at the top.
  • This opens the Mozaik Cloud Render menu.
  • Review any existing saved images shown in the menu before creating a new one.

3. Save or select a view before rendering

  • If the Render button is grayed out, this is normal when no view has been selected or saved.
  • Either:
    • Select one of the existing saved views, or
    • Save the current view and assign it a name.
  • Enter a clear name for the view so it can be identified later.

4. Start the cloud render

  • After saving or selecting a view, click the Render button.
  • Mozaik will verify that you are logged into a Cyncly account.
  • If prompted, complete verification before the render begins.

5. Wait for the render to complete

  • Allow time for the image to process and render.
  • Rendering time may vary depending on internet speed and system conditions.
  • Do not close the window until the render is complete.

6. Review the rendered image

  • Once rendering finishes, the completed image will appear in the cloud rendering area.
  • Compare the rendered result with the 3D view to confirm it matches expectations.
  • Maximize the image if needed for a clearer review.

7. Locate the file for sharing or attachment

  • If you need to save, email, or otherwise use the rendered image, click View in Folder at the bottom.
  • This opens the folder containing the PNG file.
  • Use the file location to attach the image to an email or other document as needed.

Cautionary Notes

  • The Render button may remain grayed out until a view is selected or saved; this is expected behavior.
  • A Cyncly account login/verification is required before rendering can begin.
  • Rendering may take time depending on internet speed, so avoid interrupting the process.
  • Ensure you are working in the correct room and view before saving or rendering to prevent generating the wrong image.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Save views with descriptive names so they are easy to find later.
  • If you frequently use the same view, select an existing saved view instead of creating a new one.
  • Use View in Folder immediately after rendering if you need to attach the file to an email or share it.
  • Maximize the rendered image before reviewing details to confirm quality and accuracy.
