Overview
If parts are not appearing in the Optimizer, there are several configuration settings that can prevent them from being sent correctly. These settings may be applied at the door, part, material, or product level.
Common Causes
Review the areas below to identify why parts may not be going to the optimizer.
Door Settings – Buyout Enabled
If the affected part is a door, verify that the door style is not set as a Buyout.
- Open the Door Editor
- Select the door being used
- Check the Buyout option
If Buyout is enabled, the door will not be sent to the optimizer.

Part Settings – CNC Disabled
Parts must be enabled for CNC processing in order to be optimized.
- Open the Part Editor
- Select the affected part
- Ensure CNC is toggled ON
If CNC is disabled, the part will be excluded from the optimizer.

Material Settings – Nest Disabled
Materials must be set to Nest to be included in optimization.
- Open the Material Editor
- Select the material assigned to the part
- Verify the material is set to Nest
If the material is not set to Nest, parts using that material will not be sent to the optimizer.

Product Editor – Manual Overrides
At the product level, parts may have been manually added or removed.
- Open the Product Editor
- Review any manually edited additions or removals
- Confirm the affected parts have not been excluded
Manual overrides in the product editor can prevent parts from being sent to the optimizer, even if all other settings are correct.

Resolution Checklist
Verify the following:
- Doors are not set to Buyout
- Parts have CNC enabled
- Materials are set to Nest
- No manual exclusions exist in the Product Editor
Result
Once all applicable settings are corrected, the affected parts should be sent to the optimizer as expected.
