Creating and Transferring Custom Label Templates in Mozaik
This guide walks through how to create a custom label template in Mozaik and how to transfer those labels for use in CNC Operator.
Creating a Custom Label Template
Access the Label Editor
- In Mozaik, go to File → Print → Print Labels
- Click the Pencil icon next to the Select Label dropdown to open the Label Editor
- From the Label Selection dropdown, choose + Add Label Template
- Enter a Name for the label and click OK
Label Setup Options
After naming the label, configure the following settings:
Label Type
Choose the appropriate label type based on how the label will be used:
- Cabinet – Template for cabinet labels printed from Mozaik
- Part – Template for part labels printed from Mozaik
- Nested – Template for part labels printed from the Optimizer
Note: The available variables and drawings will change depending on the label type selected.
Label Size
- Select a standard label size and click Use
- Or enter custom dimensions and click OK
Orientation
- Enable Print Landscape if the label should print in landscape orientation
Once all label setup options are configured, click OK to proceed.
Design the Label
- Add any Variables you want included on the label
- Arrange text, drawings, and variables to match your desired layout
- Customize the label design to your specifications
Transferring Label Templates to CNC Operator
To use your custom label templates in CNC Operator, follow these steps:

Navigate to:
C:\Mozaik\Data -
Copy the file:
MultiPrintLabelTemplates.xml - Ensure CNC Operator is not running

Paste the file into:
C:\MozaikCNCOperator\Data - Launch CNC Operator
Your custom label templates should now be available for use.
