Understanding and Adding a Texture

If you want to add a file to your Textures, please see the following instructions.

Before adding a texture, it is important to understand one thing.  There are multiple texture folders, and the different folders are not necessarily categories of textures that can all be used for any texture.  Rather each texture from the settings tab pulls from a specific folder.  For example, the Base Door texture only pulls for the following directory, and you cannot select any texture not in the folder:

C:\Mozaik\Textures\Wood*

To add a texture, open the file explore and navigate to C:\Mozaik\Textures. You will then want to copy your Texture file to each of the folders you may want use the texture in.  You can click on the thumbnail, and view which folder Mozaik is pulling from, or you can look at the list below.

*Please note, these directories will be different if you are using file sharing
